Treating Dog Gum Disease: Go Holistic!
The Scoot Man came to me with a lot of health problems, including gum disease. Quite frankly, I took in the little blind Beagle because his human couldn’t keep him anymore and a second trip to the Humane League looked like an unhappy death sentence. I figured I would give the dog a respectable place to die since he seemed so old, so overweight, and so incredibly unhealthy.
When I took him to the veterinarian to check out his little dog teeth, I was smacked with a significant surprise.
